LIFT Estate

Guildhouse is responsible for managing the LIFT estate for Assemble Community Partnership in Bedfordshire, East and North Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes, and for Norlife throughout the majority of Norfolk. This varied portfolio includes the following:

In Kings Lynn, Guildhouse, as the private sector partner within Norlife, have taken over the ownership and management of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital nurses' accommodation and undertaken a programme of staff and student accommodation refurbishment to address many years of underinvestment and a significant maintenance backlog. The work provides accommodation to a quality standard in line with current legislative requirements. The accommodation comprises 82 flats capable of housing well over 200 people.

In Milton Keynes, Guildhouse, as the private sector partner within Assemble Community Partnership, are responsible for the ownership and management of the regional NHS headquarters offices at Sherwood Place. This responsibility of premises management has followed on from a complete programme of procurement, refurbishment, furniture installation, IT installation and staff relocation for Welwyn Garden City PCT commissioners.

There are preliminary proposals that LIFT companies should undertake the entire primary care estate, including existing as well as new buildings and Guildhouse is actively investigating these possible developments.
