Wixams is a new town of 4,500 homes being built in a series of villages outside Bedford. We are procuring a new £2m four GP practice to be completed in 2012 for Village 1 to serve the new community as the houses are being delivered.

For Villages 3 and 4, there will be a larger Health Centre with the possibility of integrating this with other services. We are working with developers, Gallagher, to ensure that health plays a strategic role in the development of the new town.
