Guildhouse are the major shareholder in Merrivale Investment Partnership SA, a Portuguese company established to acquire and develop a £200m leisure project on the silver coast of Portugal, only 40 minutes from Lisbon and its airport.

Designed by OM2A Architects, this high quality tourist and residential development will be the first planned village centred resort complex in Portugal. It is set in 152 hectares in fabulous surroundings between 2 headlands overlooking the Atlantic, situated on a gentle slope that runs down to a sandy beach. The conversion of a ruined farm building forms the cultural centre of the scheme.
