As part of East and North Hertfordshire PCT's strategic vision to deliver more care closer to home, two centres for primary care are being planned for the Stevenage area. These are planned to bring together GPs and community services into new buildings to provide high quality healthcare.

Guildhouse have undertaken several needs assessment studies and option appraisals for NHS Hertfordshire and the local GP Commissioners. These have identified significant health need and asset deprivation in the area, a number of options are now being taken forwards to provide additional space for GP services.
