We have been working with the local practice and community in Fairstead to help regenerate the area. The local GP surgery on the Fairstead Estate needs replacement. It sits within the Centre Point retail area and adjacent to the community centre.

Fairstead suffers health and service deprivation and its retail centre is in need of updating. We are working with the active local community groups to see what added value LIFT might bring to the redevelopment of the centre and have produced outline proposals that have been well received by all stakeholders including the Freebridge Housing Association and Local Authority who own most of the site. We have begun discussions with potential additional services to develop the PCT's desired integrated centre.
